Post-OP Healing

With autumn air in my lungs, strength in my legs,
gentle steps on the yellow red orange brown leaves
holding me up
I walked to the house, up the steps, into our home
on Sunday.
Slowly but surely the body heals.
All of our friends who have inspired me
helped me, encourage me, loved me. I thank you.
