At a Poetry House Call event last evening
one of the participants read a poem by Cesar Vallejo
about Vallejo’s prediction that he would die in Paris
and then the lady said, “I love Paris so much
I want to die in Paris.” Then she asked me
“Where do you want to die?”
And I said,
“In my wife’s arms.”
