Walk Your Beauty

You don’t have to be
a Navajo
to walk in beauty

You don’t have to be
a philosopher
to walk in wisdom

You don’t have to be
a gardener
to walk among the roses

You don’t have to be
a parent
to love all children

You don’t have to be
a priest
to walk with your god

You only have to be
the One you are and
you know the One you are

Always walk in the
the beauty
of the One you are.

  2. Helen Hudson says:

Ah…so lovely a piece to read this morning in the heavy rain as sun touches the roses outside my window, briefly.

  3. Rosemerry says:

You do such a fine job finding forms, Jim, and this one is another example of that … such an affirming, love-full poem. Open to what is, embracing and inclusionary. Thank you for this one …
